About
I obtained my PhD. at the University of Paris-Sorbonne and at the Charles University in Prague. I conducted research on Czech historiography under communism which resulted in two books and several articles. I also worked as a scientific secretary of the project documenting the history of displaced Sudeten Germans (funded directly by the Czech government); in 2007 I was appointed the head of a research unit at Masaryk Institute of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. I was working as a EUROCORES coordinator and ERIH coordinator at the European Science Foundation in Strasbourg (2008-2010). Since January 2011 I´m working on a research project on the sovietization of Academies in Central Europe (Czechoslovakia, GDR and Poland).
